      PRESCHOOL REQUIREMENTS

      • Complete application for St. Andrew the Apostle Early Childhood Center
      • Recurring tuition payments begin in August and end in May.
      • Meet state and federal law guidelines
      • Current on all age-appropriate immunizations
      • Self-sufficient when using the restroom.  All children who enroll must be fully potty trained.

NOTE:  If you are thinking of sending your preschooler on to Kindergarten and want to come in as a nontuition family, you must be registered in the parish and have a recordable record of giving to the parish for at least one year.  Please do not come to registration and state that you give cash in the basket as we cannot count this and you will have to come in as a tuition family until a record can be established.

      • If registration is currently closed, please contact the school office (816) 454-7377 ext 321

      • The preschool deposit is required and payable at the time of registering
      • The deposit will be refunded in full should seating inside the classroom not become available
      • Should a place become available inside the classroom, the family will then be notified and instructed to complete the registration process

Tuition, Tithe & Fees for K-8th

St. Andrew the Apostle Parish School (K-8) is funded through the financial commitment of the entire parish community.  St. Andrew the Apostle Parish School offers a non-tuition experience in order for all families to be able to attend.  We are grateful for all of our parishioners who help subsidize the good work we do at school.  School families are asked to pray on what sacrifice they could make to help support this ministry.  If you choose our excellent school, you will be asked to make, after prayer, a sacrificial pledge to the parish to be paid weekly or monthly, as you choose.  No one is turned away due to lack of funds.  We understand that many families cannot fund the entire cost of educating their children in our school.  There are no percentages or set amounts, only the requirement of Sacrificial giving. The requirement of our Lord was that we give back to God first, and not just from our excess.  Luke 21:1-14 should be an inspiration on giving.

For families outside of our parish, we welcome you to join our exceptional school.  By enrolling and paying tuition, your child can receive the benefits of a Catholic education. An academic assessment may be required for new students.

      TUITION vs. SACRIFICIAL GIVING

If you are a registered parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish with a recordable record of giving for the last 12 months, you can join our school as a non-tuition family.  If you do not have a recordable record of giving, you will need to join as a tuition family.

If you are new to St. Andrew the Apostle and have been registered at another parish and have a recordable record of giving to that parish, you can join our school as a non-tuition family.  All we need is a letter from your former parish stating that you supported your parish and were a member in good standing.  To register at the parishioner rate, you must:

      • Attend Mass every Sunday and Holy Day of Obligation
      • Make a pledge to the parish and keep that pledge
      • Have a monthly recordable tithe for the last 12 months
      • Contact [email protected] if you encounter a financial difficulty.

If you have not been registered at another parish and/or do not have a record of giving, you will have to come into the school as a tuition family and establish a record of giving to St. Andrew’s Parish.
