Our Lady of Fatima Purgatorial Society is an informal group dedicated to praying for the holy souls in purgatory at St. Andrew’s Parish. We will gather on the Second Saturday of each month at 8:00am with a Latin Mass along with Eucharistic Adoration, the Rosary, Quiet Prayer, Confession, Litany of the Precious Blood and Benediction offered for the poor souls in purgatory.
Under the patronage of Our Lady of Fatima who talked about purgatory in her first apparition on May 13, 1971 when Sister Lucia, one of the three seers, asked Our Lady about two village friends who recently died. Maria das Neves, whom Our Lady said, “yes, she is” in heaven and Amelia (18-20yrs) whom Our Lady said, “She will be in purgatory until the end of the world.” (Hungry Souls, Gerard J.M. Van Deb Aardweg, 2009)
Membership is open to everyone and no registration is necessary. Simply join us on the SECOND SATURDAY beginning at 8:00am. You may bring a list of deceased souls to write in a book to be prayed for in charity. Please remember priests, religious, and parishioners as well. Currently, we are not taking formal purgatorial society enrollments of deceased souls.
